I don't know that there's a theme, more of a touch-point along the road. This year is a year of focus and working on things that support the core of the business here at CafePress.

[2007.07.11 20:12:27] FredCP: This includes laying in redundant systems, geo-diverse server locations, etc. And this morning we had a nearly 2 hour hole when a cisco device upstream from us failed – a perfect illustration of why the ongoing infrastructure work is going to prevent this type of thing from happening again in the future, and why we’re doing less front end stuff and more back end (for now).

Our preference is for smooth releases and minimal to no Shopkeeper or customer impact.
[2007.07.11 20:17:16] JillCP: The Value T is being removed from the Marketplace for a few reasons, primarily a desire to move toward higher quality products. We have received customer feedback that the quality of the merchandise available in the Marketplace directly impacts the perception of all products available through CafePress. This quality association impacts customer satisfaction and repeat customers.

When we make a decision, or are thinking about something we want to implement we talk to this group of people. There are some Shopkeepers that use them as give away items to promote their offline businesses. Other Shopkeepers use them to sell a low priced alternative, such as T-Shirts under $10.00.
